The WeDeliverPeriod Impact Fellowship develops the leadership capacity of participants, establishes a community of practice among participating organizations, and cultivates a cohort of innovative social impact leaders committed to helping girls access quality education in sub- Saharan Africa.
This six-month, fully virtual leadership development experience is offered to a small cohort of social entrepreneurs and/or community leaders helping girls stay in school through menstrual hygiene management strategies, technology and/or other approaches.
Fellows participate in a mixture of learning and engagement experiences including conversations with thought leaders on topics that may range from leadership, design thinking, fundraising, governance, and monitoring and evaluation, among others.
A stipend is offered for participation and opportunity for additional support will be made available.
Fellows within this community of innovative leaders will work toward improving their personal leadership capacity and support the leadership development of their peers.
Demonstrates skills and experience to lead an organization through growth.
Demonstrates interest in using internal systems and tools to track progress toward achieving specific goals such as the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
Offers a clear pathway that is connected to other community services in Fellow’s target region to provide a holistic support structure.
Tailors options for menstrual health management and/or other efforts to the needs of the region and/or cultural context to help girls stay in school.
