About the WeDeliverPeriod

Impact
Fellowship

The WeDeliverPeriod Impact Fellowship develops the leadership capacity of participants, establishes a community of practice among participating organizations, and cultivates a cohort of innovative social impact leaders committed to helping girls access quality education in sub- Saharan Africa.

Background

According to UN Women, approximately 743 million girls were impacted by school closures worldwide as a result of the pandemic.

Additionally, 267 million young women are considered not in education, employment or training.

As a result, more women and girls are vulnerable to forced labor, domestic violence and early marriage.

WeDeliverPeriod is an initiative of RenewToday and exists to cultivate a global community dedicated to celebrating the purpose and dignity of women and girls.
